Community Impact & Donations

Westside E-Waste is committed to making a positive impact on both the environment and communities in need. As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we donate 15% of all functional electronics we receive to local schools and international charities located in Barbados and Nigeria. These donations provide children with access to new technology, empowering them with the tools they need to excel in education and develop essential digital skills. By recycling electronics responsibly, we not only reduce e-waste but also help bridge the digital divide in underserved areas around the world.

In 2024, we were proud to donate 400 laptops and monitors to charities in Nigeria and Barbados, respectively, furthering our mission to bridge the digital divide. Additionally, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with local colleges in the Los Angeles area, including California State University Northridge, University of California, Los Angeles, and several community colleges like Pasadena Community College and the Simi Valley School District. Through these partnerships, we've helped students and staff maximize their educational experiences by providing access to essential technology.
